Ireland reviews

  • "Brilliant Service."

I was somewhat apprehensive of taking a car across to Ireland on the ferry for the first time. I had no need to worry. I booked on-line and, from the details I supplied about the car, I was recognised as I arrived at the check-in and greeted by my name and welcomed by a most courteous and efficient staff member. It couldn't have been easier. On board everything was clean and comfortable and a most pleasant experience for us. Thanks.

  • "Smooth sailing"

This was our first sailing on the European Endeavour and with P&O so we weren't sure what to expect ... once we found the ferry port everything was smooth sailing. To be able to put your head on a nice clean soft pillow and curl up under a cuddly blanket was just what was needed at 03:30hrs and to wake up to breakfast before docking was great. All staff were courteous and helpful, facilities were clean and more than adequate. The only difficulty was finding the port - we circled around for more than a hour (google eventually came to our aid!). Just a suggestion ... maybe the shop could be a bit bigger!!

  • "Re: Recent ferry crossing"

Recently I traveled with my uncle on the ferry crossing between Ireland and Scotland. We enjoyed our sailing as all the staff were very pleasant and would recommend using direct ferries in the future to friends.

  • "Amazing apart from cold in waiting room pre sailing"

Ship incredibly brilliant. Waiting room and part on the way in was so cold however that I would never sail again. A few blow heaters wouldn't be hard to erect. It's ridiculously and needlessly cold.
