Operated by Irish Ferries on the Calais Dover route
Named after Yeats' poem "The Lake Isle of Innisfree", this well-equipped and modern car ferry crosses the English Channel from Dover to Calais up to ten times a day. On board, you'll discover a wide range of environments in which to relax and enjoy yourself.
Upgrade, for a supplement, to the luxurious Club Class Lounge and make your journey even more comfortable, enjoying magnificent sea views.
The isle of Innisfree features a wide range of bars, brasseries and cafes. For passengers requiring a restaurant menu, Boylan's Brasserie serves a selection of hot food or choose from a wide range of sandwiches, rolls, baps and light refreshments at Café Lafayette. O'Flaherty's Bar offers a choice of delicious hot and cold snacks and, of course, a full bar service.
The shop offers passengers the chance to buy gifts and souvenirs for friends and family. In addition, you can pick up some great deals in fragrances, fashion and electrical goods.
There is a large play area for kids with films, games, and toys to keep them entertained and a large amusement arcade for all the family.

"Excellent choice"
We used Irish Ferries for our Dover to Calais and return crossings for the first time this month and found the boats and service to be excellent. Everything was clean and tidy and staff were on hand as we boarded and sailed to make sure we were all ok. Although we didn't eat on either leg of our journey we did buy drinks and were happy with the service.

The ferry and sailing both ways was great, but the price and the quality of the breakfast was exorbitant!!

Used to cross with Eurotunnel since 2005. I wanted to try the ferry and I was very surprised by the quality of the service. The price is fair and the facilities correct 👍🏽.

"Great service"
We had great service helpful staff, we arrived early for our crossing incase of traffic and queues and were then offered an earlier departure ferry which was great, could be a bit cleaner in places but not what didn’t expect from a day ferry, I would use again

"A really pleasant crossing"
After the delays caused by the Border Force, everything else went smoothly. I arrived a little early and the helpful staff managed to fit me on the earlier boat. The look and feel of the ship is one of quality and excelence. The emergenc y briefing was clear and I particularly liked that they made provision for those needing extra help. The crossing as overr almost before I reaLised it. The unloading was really well organised and we were on out way . Thanks for a great trip. Will used Irish Ferries again.

"The best when traveling with kids"
We chose Irish Ferries as they are perfect when travelling with little ones. The soft play area is the best compared to DFDS and P&O. While the kids are entertained you get really delicious coffee at the bistro. Happy kids, happy parents. Easy boarding, always very very friendly staff. From check in to boarding the ferry. They are very nice and help you out before you can even ask. We tested all ferry providers from calais to dover and have to honestly say Irish ferries are the best!!!!
